Dude, last time i checked k stood for Kilo which means a thousand. 1 kilogram is 1000 grams: 1kg 1 kilometre is 1000 metres: 1km 1 kilowatt is 1000 watts: 1kw 1 kilojoule is 1000 joules: 1kJ Therefore 900km3 mean 900,000m3.
